HeatGuard Tape is designed to provide a non-adhesive insulating wrap that can be used as a substitute for HeatGuard protective sheathing, offering resistance to molten metal splash, radiant heat, abrasion, corrosive atmosphere, moisture, chemicals, vibration and electricity.
• White knitted fiberglass yarn woven in a flat strip
• Coated on one side with iron oxide
• Red silicone rubber with a nominal thickness of 0.147"
• Rated for 500°F (260°C) continuous exposure, up to 2000°F (1093°C) for 15-20 minutes and up to 3000°F (1650°C) for 15-30 seconds
