Optime™ 105 earmuffs provide ultra-high and ultra-low frequency attenuating hearing protection with a twin-cup design that minimizes resonance. Features wide, softly-padded headband and individual stainless spring steel headband wires for comfortable alignment on the head. Wide, replaceable ear cushions are filled with newly-developed soft foam for excellent sealing properties, good fit and low-surface pressure. Outer layer consists of specially-developed, hygienically-textured plastic for ventilation and durability. Weight: 9.3 oz.
For noise levels up to 105 dB. Tested to ANSI S3.19. CSA Class A Certified.
NRR is the Noise Reduction Rating in decibels (dB). It is the average noise reduction obtained by a group of people wearing a specific hearing protector in a laboratory test. Research suggests that many users will receive less noise reduction than indicated by the NRR due to variation in earplug fit and and wearing time. It is recommended that the NRR be reduced by 50% for estimating the average amount of noise reduction provided.
