SKU:93915 Item#: 93915
All of Lawson’s chisels and punches are hand-forged from high-quality steel. They undergo exacting hardening and tempering processes to assure maximum durability. Each tool is individually ground and polished.
For loosening frozen or tight pins and keys and for knocking out rivets
Also known as starter punches
CAUTION: Always wear safety goggles when working with hand tools. When striking a tool, use a hammer with a head slightly larger than the struck face of the tool. Avoid glancing hammer blows. Chisels and punches will perform effectively only when used on materials softer than the hardened cutting point end of the tool. We recommend the use of a file when resharpening one of these tools. A grinding machine can cause overheating, which can alter the tempered surface, making it brittle and prone to fracture. Resharpening should always return the cutting edge to its original angle.
