Flat face couplers and nipples are best used where clear connections are required despite dusty dirty conditions. The anti-wear characteristics allow them to operate successfully in applications involving high pressure pulses. Best used in agriculture, construction, mobile equipment, general industrial, mining and nuclear equipment.
Flat mating faces are easily wiped clean to prevent system contamination
Streamlined bi-directional flow path minimizes pressure drop
Non-spill design prevents fluid loss during connection/disconnection
Heavy-duty locking sleeve provides greater strength and prevents accidental disconnection
Coupling can rotate while connected, reducing stress
Zinc-plated steel body
PTFE and nitrile rubber seals
Conforms to ISO 16028 Standards
Operating temperature range: 4°F to +212°F (20°C to +100°C)
3/8" body size meets or exceeds HTMA requirements
To couple, wipe the mating faces clean and push the two halves together until they click shut. Twist the sleeve to lock the coupling. To release, align the notched sleeve with the ball and pull back the coupling springs apart.
