Acid Core Solder 1/8"
(Pack of 1)

Lawson Products

Improve your welding projects with Acid Core Solder, the silver-reinforced alloy that delivers unmatched strength and reliability for dissimilar metal applications. This lead- and cadmium-free formula bonds chrome-plated steels, stainless steel, copper, brass, and bronze with a tensile strength of 22,000 PSI—many times stronger than standard solders while requiring only 425°F application heat. The superior corrosion resistance and vibration-resistant properties make it the go-to choice for food service equipment, hospital instruments, and industrial tank repairs where durability matters most. Whether you're working on kitchen equipment or critical vessel repairs, this professional-grade solder ensures joints that withstand the test of time and rigorous use.
• Lead- and cadmium-free – complies with food and beverage industry restrictions
• Highly resistant to corrosion
• Many times stronger than standard solders – resists vibration
• Low application heat
Tensile Strength: 22,000 PSITemperature: 425°F (218°C)Recommended Flux: CW1092 paste, P16500 gel or 20552 paste
Not for use in electrical applications
Typical Applications
• Food, beverage and kitchen equipment
• Hospital equipment• Instrument repairs
• Vats, tanks and vessels
Usage Procedure Clean joint area, removing scale, oil, grease or paint. Solder is self-fluxing. Heat indirectly with any method, such as a blow torch, soldering iron, oxy-acetylene torch or propane torch. Apply solder to the joint area and heat until the alloy flows completely through the joint. Flux residue may be removed in hot water.
