Flush Cutting Shear Static Dissipative
(Pack of
1)
Dissipative HandlesOrdinary plastic tool grips accumulate static charge. They discharge this static electricity when they come in contact with a ground potential. This discharge will often damage sensitive components. Static dissipative material will not hold a static charge and will not shock components electrically, either by adding a charge to the component or dissipating a charge too quickly. Complies with MIL DOD-HDBK-263.Bypass Blade DesignOur flush-cutting shear, with its blade bypass design, consistently produces a lower shock force to operators’ hands and electronic components. They are excellent cutters for 16 Ga. and smaller copper wire, and 22 Ga. and smaller hard wire such as steel, Kovar and Dumet.Precision ConstructionThese tools are manufactured from a high carbon steel and are plated to resist corrosion. The cutter blades and plier tips are hardened to Rc 59 to Rc 61 and are precision-ground for long life and strength.One-Handed Pick-UpOur spring design incorporates a high-quality steel and is heat-treated for long life. The spring design incorporates a stop that does not allow the tools to open beyond 3" at the grips, allowing easy, one-handed pick-up by the operator.Low-Stress Handle Design to help prevent hand stress
