Developed using NASA technologies. This heavy-duty welding blanket is made of carbon fiber fabric and is extremely heat and fire resistant. Protects your surroundings during continuous operating temperatures of 1800°F and intermittent temperatures up to 3000°F.
• ASTM E84-97a Scores: Flame Spread Index = 7, Smoke Index = 4
• Meets and exceeds all standards of NFPA 701 (standard method of fire tests for flame resistant textiles and films) as tested by ITS
• Lightweight, soft, and flexible, tough, tear-resistant material
• Easy to Clean – Shake, vacuum, or blow metal particles out
• Not intended for heat-treating applications
