R-1234yf has become the industry standard refrigerant for enviromental reasons and it is estimated that nearly 70% of model year 2019 vehicles have R-1234yf air conditiioning systems installed.
Air Conditioning Dyes mix with the oil and refrigerant and circulate throughout the A/C system. At the area of a leak, a small amount of dye will escape and stain the area with dye, exposing the leak. UV/Fluorescent dyes allow the operator to see this with the aid of the UV lamp and enhancing glasses.
• For use in R-1234yf A/C systems
• Recommended usage: 1/4 oz. per 12 oz. oil
CAUTION: DO NOT use any of these dyes in brake fluid systems.
