All-purpose gel that locks, seals and retains threaded joints. It can lock nuts, bolts, screws and studs and can lock adjusting screws in any position, thread 1/8" to 1-1/2". Retains bearings, holds pins and bushings, and seals pipe threads and flanges. This product is economical because a small amount does the work of a lock washer, set screw or locking nut. Loctite® Tight® converts to an insoluble hard plastic after assembly that resists most chemicals, liquids and gases. It allows for disassembly with standard hand tools and can be used in temperature areas up to 298°F (148°C).
