Type 170 Mushroom Lock has approximately 170 stems per square inch. It is designed to mate to Type 400. Type 170 will also mate with the loop side of Hook and Loop. This 170/Loop combination provides an exceptionally high-strength fastener with limited number of openings and closings – 20 to 50. The Type 170/Loop combination should be tested for suitability for each application before using.
