Absorbs oil and repels water. Floats to allow skimming oil off water. Helps protect shorelines and reduce environmental damage. In snowy weather the blue color helps to differentiate it from the landscape. More absorbent than clay – each sock can absorb up to three gallons of oil, up to 20 times its own weight. Lightweight, super-strong, tear-resistant, non-toxic polypropylene. Incinerates with less than 1% ash.
