Improves top-coat adhesion of coatings when applied to single ply membranes such as EPDM, PVC, PIB, TPO and Hypalon which may be too slick for direct application of roof coatings. Roof and construction surfaces and masonry surfaces.
• Water based
• High tack finish
• Suitable for single ply membranes, asphalt emulsions and masonry surfaces
• Compatible with elastomeric (acrylic) roof coatings and Asphalt emulsions
• Surface must be sound, clean, dry, and free of dust, oil, mold, algae, heavy rust, excess chalk, and other foreign matter which could prevent proper adhesion
• Recommended Dry Film Thickness (DFT) per Coat: 1.25-2 mils
• Wet Film to Achieve DFT (Unthinned material): 4-6 mils
• Practical Coverage at Recommended DFT (assume 15% material loss): 300-400 sq. ft./gal
• Dry Times at 70-80°F (21-27°C) and 50% Relative Humidity - Recoat: 1 Hour Minimum
• Dry Times at 70-80°F (21-27°C) and 50% Relative Humidity - Topcoat: After 1 Hour but Before 24 Hours
