• Turnbuckles can be used to apply tension to wire rope or cable
• Composed of a forged body and two end fittings
• Must only be applied to loads within their working load limit
• Apply turnbuckles in a straight in-line manner only. Do not allow anything to contact the turnbuckle body or end attachment threaded shanks
• Working load limits are based on a safety factor of 5 to 1
• Meets ASTM F1145 Type 1, Grade 1, Class D
• Apply load to the center of end attachment eyes – do not side load eyes
