The Ultra-Dewatering Bag is designed to capture silt, dirt and other pollutants when draining swampy or low-lying areas. These containinants can cause problems if they are dischacharged inot storm drains. By pumping water into the bag pollutants are trapped and filtered so only water escapes to the ground below or nearby storm drains. The opening can accommodate up to a 4-inch discharge hose. NOTE: To increase the efficiency of filtration, the bag can be placed on an aggregate or haybale bed to maximize water flow through the surface area of the bag.
