510 Aluminum TIG Wire 3/32"
(Pack of 2.0)

Cronatron®

The 510 Aluminum TIG Wire is the ultimate welding solution for maintenance and repair professionals who demand precision and versatility. Specifically designed for weldable aluminum, this premium filler metal excels in working with alloys containing magnesium, making it ideal for applications in industries like shipbuilding, automotive manufacturing, and low-temperature containers. With a stable, quiet arc that ensures smooth, uniform results and no undercutting, it delivers a flawless finish and superior crack resistance every time. Plus, its excellent corrosion resistance and tensile strength of 35,000 PSI mean durability you can trust for projects big and small.
• Stable, quiet arc with no undercutting
• Good corrosion resistance
• Tensile Strength: 35,000 PSIPolarity: AC/High FrequencyGas: Argon/Helium
Usage ProcedureBevel heavy sections to allow 100% weld metal penetration. Sprinkle F56 flux into the joint area. Broadly heat area to be brazed with a large, soft and slightly carburizing flame to about 1,100°F (593°C). Heat the base metal until flux flows freely. The alloy will then begin to wet the base metal. Deposit the 510T to fill the joint. Flux residue may be removed with warm water and a brush.
